Profile

GridOnline is a bulk data backhauling service offered by NamPower (Pty) Ltd., the largest electric power utility in Namibia.

Launched in 2019, GridOnline has become a vital part of Namibia’s ICT infrastructure and a key platform for bulk data transmission.

GridOnline not only encompasses the most significant national data transmission links across Namibia but also connects to transmission networks in neighboring countries within the SADC region. It includes critical routes to the WACS and Equiano submarine cable systems.

GridOnline is dedicated to enhancing the ICT sector in Namibia and the Southern African region by providing fast and reliable backbone connectivity to service providers at competitive rates. We believe that access to bulk data transmission networks should be unbiased and equitable. Therefore, we ensure that our services and pricing are shared openly and transparently.
